Exchanges, what are they for?
Meeting people, knowing life stories
During the transnational short-term exchanges the students deepen on their understanding of general recent history. They meet the collaborating elderly in the host country and learn about their biographies and their historical context. They compare their national history in the same time period and recognize similarities and differences between the life stories of the former migrant elderly in the host country and those they have previously worked on in their respective countries.

Creating, agreeing and writing
Then the students work face-to-face with the use of the collaborative writing methods, exercising and improving their communicative skills in English. After creating the fictional characters, they agree on the plot and write their collaborative stores in pairs. A lot of effective communication is needed! between each pair!

Creating bonds of friendship and understanding
But that's not all. Every exchange visit means a unique opportunity for the students to know about the history, the culture, the climate or the lofe conditions of the new country and, of course, to integrate into them all.
Each one-week stay supposes for them the chance to start everlasting frienship relations.
