Afundación, a non-profit private institution, aims to promote educational, social and cultural activities that improve the Galician society
‘FÁLAME DA EMIGRACIÓN’, Tell me About Emigration, is an intergenerational programme that is inserted in the strategic line «The Value of Experience», in the area of Active Aging.
This program is initially developed in the municipalities of Galicia where the 11 spaces +60 of Afundación are located, in which more than 11,000 people participate, in collaboration with secondary schools of these localities.

The general objectives of this program are:
- Allow the elderly transmit to the youth the knowledge and experiences acquired throughout their lives, while enriching themselves with the dialogue with young people while mutual understanding is encouraged.
- Make students benefit from the legacy and experience of the elderly, who know and understand them better, dialogue and cooperate with them, favoring respect for people at all stages of life.
- Helping the educational community incorporate new modalities of learning, that take advantage of the experience of the elderly, foster dialogue, cooperation and understanding between the different generations.
